I first saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the movie ‘500 days of Summer’ and his acting was simply superb. Even in this movie he clearly shows the other side of being a cancer patient. A typical movie would handle the subject with very serious dark scenes in hosptials and things like that. But in this movie, we get to see the real life, that is people not knowing how to react when someone has to go through this. Scenes I vividly remember are
- Office part, where he get questioned multiple times
- Over reactive mother which almost becomes too annoying for him
- Girl friends who leaves him in the most critical time
- His discussion with other patients who undergo chemo
- And finally the love connection with the nurse
