When I wanted to join NIIT, it was a significant milestone in my life. Now looking back, it all looks like a fairy tale. NIIT leading to xerox, job as a developer, getting my dream job and so on.
Now joining the course came with a cost : time, effort and money. The course was supposed to go along with my regular graduation studies. I was already pushing my limits with the regular graduation classes. Library, reading additional books and so on. So this was definitely a BIG risk. And more than anything else the course would set us back by almost 1 lakh rupees. That was lot of money back then !
After lot of convincing, my dad agreed and it was one of the best things he did for me.
Now when I am in this great company, having the dream job that I have, I am so proud of my day.
