Yesterday listened to an interesting discourse by Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha, at Vadakkunnathan temple grounds.
He spoke about the Gita translation he has done in English as well as in Malayalam. He also explained how certain words are pronounced the same but written differently in Sanskrit as well as in Malayalam
We also bought a book from the book stall, namely ‘Brahmavidya Abhyasa’ by Swamiji. It’s an interesting book which combines religion and philosophy.
Through wiki, I came to know that they also have an Ashram in Thrissur – narayanashrama tapovanam, which is located near Paralam, Thrissur, almost 10- 12 km from our home.
