Swaroop came home yesterday from Hyderabad. He reached at 1:00 PM. We ordered food from swiggy and then talked for a long time. In the evening, we went to 1 MG mall as well as Big Bazaar. Once he came back, Swaroop taught me how to use the Tez and BHIM app, along with that, how to easily transfer money from one account to another, using UPI payment interface. He was patient enough to explain all the factors of this new technology. He also told me that, in the future, all middlemen would be cut out, including Visa and Mastercard and that all the transaction would be happening through blockchain. After that, at night we watched episodes from Black Mirror.
Today morning we woke up and had a healthy breakfast. After that, I showed him raspberry pi.He connected his Samsung tab as well as his Lenova laptop to the pi. He was amazed how such a small computing device ( raspberry pi ) could be running so many programs – python, javac etc. He just didn’t want to get up from his work ( play ? ) But then it was getting late because now we have to head to Forum mall, to meet Ambika, and his brother Vinay. We are planning to have lunch with them.( While I am typing, he is taking bath, and he has put the song ‘Ponnil kulichu ninnu chandrika vasantham’ and he is also singing along with that )
We also have plans to check out the places where we stayed before, as well as places we went to eat, when we first came to Bangalore. Not sure, if we could afford that based on the time crunch we are experiencing.
Swaroop would be starting tomorrow back to Hyderabad
