First work day of 2018

By | January 2, 2018

Today is Jan 2nd, 2018 and I headed to work as usual, at least, that’s what I thought – but nothing about today was ordinary. I will explain why

Today is a full moon. I have never experienced a full moon, so early in the year – the second day of the year. Although I was tired, due to cold and cough, I still felt the energy to head to office. At the office, I got a chance to go through several useful tutorials in pluralsight. I checked out the lessons on ethical hacking, adding animated titels in premier pro, as well as code covers ( Something which I hardly understood, when brother was talking about that, when we all met at Trichur )

Sharmila told me that, today is an auspicious day for shiva. They do abhisheka with cooked rice

Ameet talked to me about an opportunity at CVS for codizent or something – a dot net framework, developed by Cognizant which could be used in our project

After coming home, I cut beans, as well as almost 8 – 9 onions, which I could use in the following days. I cleaned vessels after that and put clothes for drying

I tried recording the song, behind blue eyes, guitar + vocals but realized that I need loads and loads of practice

Melvin called today – told he is planning to hit Bangalore next weekend and plans to spend time with me. He is also planning to get a bass guitar ( second hand ) from Coimbatore

This year has been a gift-receiving year, even before this year began. Firstly Ambika gifted me a large trolley bag, it looks so beautiful. Brother has already ordered the knife set, which would be arriving soon. I have gifted myself Zoom H4n pro along with the accessory pack. And Ambika also wants to gift me a sports watch – Samsung Gear Fit 2 pro ( well that’s a mouthful )

Since I came by 6:00 o clock  bus, I reached by 7:00 and I felt, there is ample time for me

Met Krishna in the afternoon and he told me that, he has to come to the office, only till the end of this week – looks like he hasn’t got any project or placement. He was released on Nov 7th

One note seems to be  a really effective tool and I still need to learn to use it effectively

After wearing the swetar ( which dad bought for me ) and the monkey cap, I was able to sleep comfortably, without feeling too much cold, yesterday

I had a vision of me and Ambika at a beach, probably a foreign country – looking towards the sea and talking something. After some time, we get back up and go back to our seashore house. There are no kids, but the body looks really developed. I open my small laptop, keep it on the table and start working on some web project – I realize this online business pays for all the bills. It brings so much happiness when I think about this. My beautiful acoustic guitar is also in the house. House is white and painted light green or blue and the house is small, but right on the sea shore.
