I got microscope as a gift from Kayeen, when he came home yesterday. We talked for several hours about bacterial motility and cell division. Had burger from MacD
Today we went to his college at Bannerghetta. AMC college. Met other faculty : Anjali and Vidya. Met students as well.
Saw onion cell as well as an organism through the microscope. Attended the class on micrometry taken by Kayeen. Students were from B.Sc microbiology stream ( with 3 majors – Micro biology, chemistry and zoology)
Anjali took out so much time to explain each of the specimen put in formaldehyde and I got to see toads, crocodile, tape worm, tree kind of animals and coral – first time in my life
Kayeen will again come on Wednesday so that we can buy slides and stains. I’m so excited about all these
In other news,
- mom’s naturopathy treatment is completed today
- I prepared green peas sabji in less than 20 minutes
- Did some exercises with weight plates and dumb bells
- Although I had slept only for 3 hours, went with Kayeen, to the college. Felt that as an achievement
- Watched video on Surya namaskar on YouTube
- Bought a book on ISIS
