I am happy to see that my health and fitness blog, fit @ 30 is growing in terms of information shared and it’s ability to keep track of my fitness journey. In this post, I want to document a few things, I did to, make this blog, the way it is.
Last week, I spend some quality time, converting all these chat messages from my coaches to different pages within the blog, trying out different themes, trying out various plugins so that I have a good image gallery and so on. Currently the blog has 2 image galleries – one of which shows pics posted in the blog and another from one of my flickr albums. I also installed flickr app in my phone, which I can use to easily share the photos that I take in my phone to the flickr album, which will then automatically get updated in the blog. I also made sure that some details were scattered in my other fitness blogs had to be brought under a single umbrella.
I also learned that, more than the goals, what matters is the journey. Last week, I got myself a food processor and shredded carrot and sliced cucumber. Yesterday I cleaned my home and washed vessels twice ( something that rarely happens ). I am beginning to realize for a healthy body, a healthy mind with the right surroundings is a must. Some of these things, like pics of the food that I prepare, goes to the blog.
And when I see these posts and pic, I’m filled up with so much happiness and this great realization that, the journey is not gonna be a smooth straight line from point A to point B, but rather lots and lots of zig zag lines, learning from the challenges and starting each new day with the best possible attitude.
