Yesterday( 8th June 2016 ) was a very important day in my life. I passed the two-wheeler and 4 wheeler test from the Bangalore Indiranagar RTO. Although we had to wait till 3:00 PM, in empty stomach, at the end, it was all worth it. You may be wondering why it took so long for me to learn driving, just a 4 days short of my 30th b’day ? Well, I have my own reasons, and it makes me fill with so much love and awe for myself knowing that, I have finally done that.
It’s an amazing feeling when you know that, you are taking the right steps in realizing your true self, limited by no thoughts or fears.
The best part is, I get to take my mom, wherever she wants to go, without she worrying about the driving skills of my dad. Also, sometime in the future I hope to sport a bike and cruise all around bangalore in that 🙂
I must also sincerely thank, Guruswamy, the lawyer who gladly offered his Hero ismart bike for the test, although he knew nothing about me. He told me, there was no way, he could refuse my request, because a few years back, when he went for his riding test, someone offered his brand new Pulsar for him, to ride on the test day. I remembered about pay it forward, and how it impacts our lives, in ways more than one. Also, he gave me company by talking about stuff, during our 5+ hour wait.
Came back home and informed Ambika and mom about it and both of them are were ecstatic. Dad told me that, from now on, he could just relax, while I drive the car. I felt so happy, hearing all that.
