Two things happened
- As per suggestion from Ambika and Suman, I went for the practice session of the band that was performing Vande Maataram as part of an even organized by the ‘Outreach’ team. A girl played the song Vande Maataram ( just the beginning part ) on Veena
- Melvin suggested how I could combine more than 1 instrument for my future recordings
Practiced the notes for Vande Maataram and recorded using my Electric guitar into a separate mono track in soundforge. After that, I connected my bass to the pedal/ stomp box and setup the tone that I was looking for and began recording. Tried several styles and rhythms before I decided to use the tone I mentioned below. It was the first time I am able to play guitar and combine that with an okay sounding rhythm using the bass. Overall, I am satisfied with the results. I still have a long way to go
