After using tomoato USB for over a year in my ASUS RT-N16 router, I was missing using the stock firmware. So headed to ASUS site, downloaded the latest firmware and flashed my router again.
I am pretty much impressed by the features provided by the new firmware and also got back the speeds I was looking for ( 40 Mbps). I guess I will stick with stock firmware for sometime. Need to do testing with torrent downloading to see if the connection drops ( which was a major issue previously)
Some interesting new features that I found
- More DDNS service, including no-ip( I really wanted this )
Support for load balancing with ability to connect to a secondary Internet connection ( did not test this) - Also tested URL based blocking and filtering
