Yesterday was my first day at the gym, after a long gap of nearly 3 years. I am so happy to be working towards the goals, I set for myself in 2015. It was such a great experience to be in an environment where a lot of people had only one goal, to get fit. I was very happy to talk and work with the trainer, Mr. Sateesh. He seems to be such a nice guy. He helped in all my workouts and made sure I did not do anything wrong.
Workout summary for Jan 3, 2015
- elliptical trainer (cross-trainer ) – 10 minutes ( I felt I was about to die, at the end of 10 minutes )
- Cycling – 10 minutes
- Stretching with the stick ( 4 types of exercises )- 20 minutes
The best part was, when I was about to leave, he told me, see you on Monday. It was almost like, he expected me to be there and I cannot break his promise. It gave me a lot of inspiration.
I promise myself that I would give my 100 % and then let the results speak for themselves. Three things, I am going to take seriously for faster muscle restoration and generation would be
- Sleep ( follow the body cycle of sleep on time and get up on time )
- Proper food at proper time
- Addition of fruits and raw veggies into my diet
And of course, thanks to my dear friend, mom and my doctor for putting back the thought of health and fitness, back into my mind. God bless you
