Posted above is my typing speed as of today. I wasn’t thinking about any of these, until my dear friend Nandagopal had posted his typing speed on Facebook. I have to tell you, he just doesn’t stop inspiring me. It’s been a while I took typing tests and I decided to have a look at that today. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the results. So, I decided to set new goals for myself. 120 words per minute and 98 % accuracy by December, next year.
To help me with this, I wanted a tactile feedback mechanical keyboard and I wasted no time in ordering ‘TVS-e Gold Bharat USB 2.0 Keyboard’ from flipkart, for 2100 Rs. Once I have the keyboard, I could start practising on a daily basis, until I get a consistent 120 words per minute speed.
For starters, a mechanical tactile keyboard is much different from the normal membrane keyboard all of use on a regular basis. Google for more 😉
